Child Friendly Classes

Dance Baby Dance, Wednesdays 9.30-10am

Dance Baby Dance classes are designed to be taken while wearing your baby in a sling or carrier and are thirty minutes long. No previous dance experience is necessary. We’ll learn fun dance moves and short routines to an eclectic mix of music of many genres from Pop to Rock, Jazz to Rap, Bowie to Beyoncé. We dance to music that’ll really make you want to move, saving the nursery rhymes for another time.
Routines are choreographed with safety and welfare in mind, and classes are suitable for babies from birth through to around 15 months (when they’ll likely want to be exploring a bit more on their own!) Classes are fun and high energy, with space to breathe and relax when needed, and are a time to come together to bask in the joy of dance.
So come and learn some new moves, meet some new families and get those bodies moving! Let’s boogie!

Kids Yoga (2.5-4yrs), Sundays 1pm-2pm

Yoga classes for kids are all about fun, creativity and kindness.
In this class we will drop every expectation of what a yoga class should look like. Instead, we will create the space for spontaneity, creative expression, self-esteem and respect.
Of course we will do this through yoga poses and breathing awareness, just a little bit different.
We will go on adventures in the park or through the jungle to meet the cat, the dog and the tree poses; we will dance on the beat of “Old McYogi had a farm” and we will play with singing bowls.
After so much fun, there is always the space for a relaxing Savasana, which soon becomes the kids favourite pose.
These classes are open for kids between 2.5-4yrs (simply because different stages require different exercises), but feel free to drop me an email if your younger or older kids want to join 😊
£12 per class.

Mums & Babies Yoga, Thursdays 11am-12pm

Mother and Baby yoga strengthens and tones your muscles. We’ll focus especially on the areas affected by giving birth – your tummy, hips, pelvis and of course pelvic floor. We'll use movement, balancing, strengthening fun flow and restorative poses to help you recover and build strength following pregnancy and birth. It’s also a great time to connect with your baby and meet other mums in the area.

My Mum & Baby Yoga class is an opportunity to meet other mums, stretch and unwind your body and connect with baby in a joyful and welcoming environment.
We stretch, move, breath and invite in joy and spaciousness with a focus on strengthening the pelvic floor and core muscles. A fun experience for both mum and baby. Baby can be held, fed or simply watch us practice. We embrace the uncertainty and come together as a group of supportive women and mothers at a time we need it most.Babies from 6 weeks to pre-crawling.

Family Flow Yoga, last Sunday of the month, 9.30-10.30am

A unique workshop aimed at parents/carers and their children to enjoy together. A great way to connect with your child through fun flows, partner poses and games as well as mindfulness techniques and relaxation. Yoga is physically, mentally and emotionally beneficial for the whole family, improving trust, communication, creativity and confidence between parents and children away from screens!
A calm and welcoming space where you will be invited to explore the many ways in which yoga can enhance creativity and self-expression
Suitable for children 5-10
No experience of yoga is necessary
Mats are provided.
