Calisthenics 101

Calisthenics uses just the resistance of your own bodyweight to truly challenge your body and build both strength and mobility. Want to build a strong body that will keep you younger than your years…. this is the style of training for you. We will be using equipment such as pull up bars, suspension straps as well as simply the floor and the wall! Who needs weights?! Expect to try exercises such as push ups, pull ups, pistol squats, dips lunges and many many more. Please rest assured there are regressions for every exercise meaning anyone of any level of strength can take part in this class.

The place where we master push & pull. Learn how to move your body weight with strength and confidence. A class that can meet you where you're at whether you are a complete beginner or are ready to push yourself to the next level.
Class begins with mobility & drills to prime the body & the mind. Moving into a circuit of pull-up variations, push-ups, dips, inversions & core work with every exercise adapted to meet you where you are at.
Come start your Saturday with strength in a supportive community setting

Raise the Bar
Mondays 6:15pm,Tuesdays 1.45am, Wednesdays 7am and 5pm Fridays 8:15am and 4.30pm, Saturdays 1:30pm, Sundays 11:30am

This class is all about building strength using the most iconic of equipment… the barbell!
We will be doing a full body strength building session showcasing the versatility of the barbell.
Unlike my other strength focused classes, we will be using sets and reps rather than timed interval circuits.

Women's Self Defense

This class is a 60 minute class where you will learn basic kickboxing combinations and self defense.
You can potentially burn up to 500-800 calories.
£15 per class or £70 for 6 weeks.

Pump it Up!
Tuesdays 6:30-7:15pm

We will be pumping dumbbells in time to a pumping playlist! We will be using low weights and high reps to get your upper body pumped! This will be a full body workout, but with a strong upper body focus. You can expect to work your shoulders, biceps, triceps, back and chest all in one class! Featuring an eclectic playlist of classics from across the decades although this may be disproportionately weighted towards the 90s! I am also taking special requests... let me know your favourite tunes!

Core Blimey
Mondays 7-7.45am, Wednesdays 12.30-1.15pm

Who knew a core workout could be fun??
This is a 45 minute class devoted entirely to strengthening the most important part of your body!
We will be taking a full core approach, working on all of the abdominal muscle groups, including the obliques, as well as your lower back muscles.
We will be starting off with a mobility warm up, followed by a main section using all of the toys, including hula hoops, ab wheels, sliders, slam balls, balance boards, resistance bands and weights to challenge that core. Finishing off with a blissful stretch.
Modifications will be offered throughout, making this class suitable for all levels.
This will be a fully guided workout, so no previous experience is needed of using any of the equipment.

Push & Pulleys
Mondays 8:15am, Fridays 12:30pm

This is a weight training class featuring a mix of push and pull lifts, making use of kettlebells, dumbbells, cable pulleys and other heavy stuff!

Shesensu

Shesensu is a unique fitness concept that combines cardio, sculpt, stretch and mindfulness. Developed over many years by Tara Lee and launched in January 2021, it's a class that mixes Ancient and Modern, Eastern and Western into one intelligent movement flow. Expect a soundtrack of world, electronic and tribal beats that touches you to the core. It's about being playful, mindful and sensual whilst achieving an effective workout that brings balance physically and mentally. The liberating primal movements will allow you to feel free, mobile and like a dancer. Shesensu is about encouraging love and appreciation for the body... letting you admire what your body can do rather then what it looks like. You will leave the class feeling strong, flexible and lifted. Tara has used her 20 years experience in the fitness & dance Industry, and her knowledge from working with 1000's of women to create a fitness class that is fun but seriously useful.

Rave Barre

This is a fitness class which utilises traditional ballet postures to help build strength throughout the body, but particularly the glutes, calves and thighs.🦵
This class will help you to feel stronger, as well as improving your posture and flexibility.
Plus you get to feel like a ballet dancer for 45 minutes!! 😂
As with all my classes we will be focusing on having fun whilst working, with party vibes and great tunes. 🥳

Bells, Balls & Bags
Mondays 5.15-6pm
Wednesdays 7.30-8.15pm. Saturdays 9-9.45am

Who says resistance is futile? Adding some resistance to your workouts is a perfect way to intensify the movement and help you build muscle. Plus sometimes it's fun to pick up heavy s*!? 😅 We will be working in a circuit format and making use of a varied range of toys including kettle bells, slam balls, aqua bags and dumbbells.

Impact!
Sundays 12:45-1:30pm

Impact exercises are a fantastic and important way to improve bone density and joint strength, as well as being a great cardiovascular workout. This class includes all the fun stuff... we're talking jumping, punching, throwing, incorporating impact work for both the lower and upper body.
This class will take place in a circuit format with short but intense intervals and long rest periods.
